Hottest Day...So far.




Those are the outside air temperature guages from the helicopter. The top one is on our windscreen with a little probe that sticks out to measure the temp. The other one is our navigation display. 129 degrees farenheit. That was what it was outside. I can assure you that it was not that pleasant inside. The T-shirt I was wearing when we flew is covered in salt. Luckily we were just doing a maintanance flight to check on some electrical problems so we weren't in the helo for very long. Nonetheless, when we got back I literally was able to wring the sweat out of my helmet liner. At least the wind wasn't blowing the sand into my face today.
